The  Casablanca 3 KARAT was the fastest stand-alone video editing system we ever had, ending production in 2015, and being replaced by the Casablanca 4's, which are an open PC based Bogart for Windows system and much more capable and faster.  Since the Karat is a closed system it was easier to use than the current PC Bogart based systems, but if you are comforartable with Windows, the Casablanca 4 Bogart system is the way to go.
