To decide what OS is best for your system, we must determine which mainboard is installed.You can do this simply by looking at the back of your machine.

If there is a 6 pin firewire connector, and NO blue USB ports - it is a DG45 board.

If there is NO 6 pin firewire connector - it is a DH57 board.

If there is a 6 pin firewire and blue USB ports - it is a DH67 board.

For DG45 & DH57 boards you should install the following versions:

Bogart 3 - v3.6c

Bogart 4 - v4.3d

Bogart 5 - v5.5c

For DH67 boards you should install the following versions:

Bogart 3 - This board does not support Bogart 3.

Bogart 4 - v4.5c - This version is supported, but we have had a few reports of "broken projects" with it.This can possibly result in system crashes, loss of data, and potentially a total drive loss.Therefore we HIGHLY suggest that for this board you use Bogart 5 only.

Bogart 5 - v5.5c

KARAT and TOPAZ must use Bogart 5.5c.
